On February 27, 1995, in Washington D.C., the Chisholm family received a disturbing pay phone call late at night, claiming their daughter Dana had been arrested for prostitution. Later, she was found strangled to death.

This is the harrowing tale of Dana Vonde Chisholm, a promising young woman whose life was cut short under mysterious circumstances.

A Horrific Murder

On the evening of February 27, 1995, a grisly scene was uncovered in Dana’s basement apartment on Argyle Terrace, Crestwood.

Her body was found lying face-up, starkly nude, with a cord brutally wrapped around her neck, indicating strangulation. The apartment was in disarray, suggesting a violent struggle.

Most ominous was a handwritten note left on the door: “I’ll be back — MPD,” believed to be from the killer masquerading as a Metropolitan Police Department officer.
